Welcome to Roam Any Day

Alex and I were chatting about work, while sitting outside by the campfire, and it dawned on us – we want to own our own campground one day. He rattled off a bunch of must haves, like a cafe, round the clock coffee. And, I rattled off the craftsman tools I’m gonna need to make all this happen.

We don’t have the money to buy land or build a campground right now, but we do know how to raise awareness about the outdoor market economy that we are active participants.

Alex and I are both gadget junkies. He’s regularlly obsessed with campfires. I’m regularly obsessed with tents. He’s a recycler. I like steak. He’s a night owl. I’m the early bird. And – we have a teenager who’s a top secret water bug, and knows all about gems, stones, rocks, and crystals.

Our Content

This idea is currently less than 24 hours old. But – here’s the bullet list of things we currently intend to explore:

• Campgrounds with recycling and food waste capture
• Gear we use
• Food, Beer, Wine
• Traveling with a teen, anxiety, conference calls, and work
• Finding help while traveling
• Internet access
• What matters
• What doesn’t matter
• Ways to travel that’s less impactful (in all the ways)

Of course, we need to monetize this. We have a teen, an insane travel addiction, and appreciatable (is that a word) desire to encourage people to travel safely, often, and see what the world has to offer. That costs money. Enjoy!
